This exquisite ingredient is a crucial element of a powerful and balanced blend and should not be omitted in your own favorite Rapé composition. Chicha shes mix excellently with any of the Tabaco powders. Furthermore, blending Tabaco with ashes increases the strength and absorption, making it exquisitely strong. More information below.

Chicha or Xixa is a widely known as an intoxicating maize drink usually associated with shamanic and Rapè rituals. Chicha ashes are commonly used as an ingredient of Yopo, as it has a high lime content and helps with absorption into the nasal cavities.

Many sources state that Chicha should contain the ashes of the bones of the former shaman and tribal elders that have passed away. Usually only men that have had more than one child are offered this type of Chicha in shamanic ceremonies. However this is anecdotal. These ashes are produced from Purple corn.

This is an extremely fine powder. It takes great effort to produce such a fine powder at a 150 micron fineness. This is our standard. All of our products we process to a high standard and consistent fineness, using laboratory grade sieves.
