Clitoria flower tea or Blue tea, or Butterfly Pea flower tea, is a caffeine-free herbal concoction, made by steeping dried or fresh leaves of the Clitoria ternatea plant. The best thing about the blue tea is that it is absolutely caffeine-free, and it is packed with antioxidants. The most striking feature about this plant is the colour of its flowers, a vivid deep blue. The flowers of this vine have the shape of human female genitalia, hence the Latin name of the genus, Clitoria. As indicated by its Latin name, the Blue Butterfly Pea Vine originated from Ternate island and has spread across Southeast Asia and other continents. Detailed information can be found below.

This Sage suits as a wonderful tea, and is used as incense, with a fragrance similar that of White Sage (Salvia apiana). Loose incense is generally burnt on charcoal tablets. The leaves can also used as a tea. One leaf is enough for a cup. This herb was sustainably and carefully handpicked from the wild by a friend who lives in the mountains of Crete, area Preveli in Greece. Pure whole leaves, Harvested with love. All the sticks and stems are removed. For a tea, steep one single leaf in a cup of boiled water for a few minutes, and add honey.

Whole leaf of Bobinsana from Peru. Ethically wild harvested in the tropical rainforest, area Ucayali, Curimana, Rio Aguaytia. Bobinsana is also used in Rapé preparations. This plant has been well known for centuries as a powerful spiritual plant. Traditionally a decoction of the bark is used. Indigenous people from Rio Pastaza use this plant, when they have to swim a river or fight.

Wonderfully handcrafted Kuripe made from the well known aromatic Palo Santo wood. The oldest recorded name of the wood is 'Sisaya.' This name appears to have roots in Ecuadorian and indigenous South American terminology, especially among communities in Ecuador and Peru, where Palo Santo, scientifically known as Bursera graveolens, holds a profound cultural and spiritual legacy. The Kuripe is decorated with a small slice of the Yage vine and Criscola (turqoise) stone. The kuripe has an adjustable waxed cord decorated with wooden beads. Shellac is a natural laquer that can be used to permeate and cover an object in a protective layer of organic varnish. Kuripe and Tepi made from wood or bamboo are usually coated with Shellac on the inside and outside of the object, as to harden the material and to give the Rapé a smoother flow through the pipe. To make liquid Shellac one needs pure alcohol. Add 30 to 50 grams of dry Shellac to 100 ml of alcohol, to make a saturated solution that is ready to use after one night of dissolving. It takes trial and error to achieve the perfect effect on your objects of art.
