This is a "raw" Pu'er tea, produced in 2007. Very reminiscent of a Green tea, where a light brew is very refreshing with a light yellow hue, and a longer brew produces a much more bitter acquired taste. Produced by the Zhong Cha Company (中茶). Zhong Cha was established in 1949 and it was the first national tea company in China. |
Puer Tea in Clementine

Orange Pu'er is a specific type of tea, combining the refreshing fragrance of "Xinhui" citrus fruit with the aged flavour of palace ripened Pu-er tea. Produced in Jiangmen City in the Guandong provence in China. Clementines are hollowed out and filled with Pu'er tea, then aged. The Pu'er tea leaves thus obtained when steeped, have a zesty orange smell and the tea is smooth and malty with hints of orange. |

Puer White - Tea balls

Yunnan Dayezhong sundried green and white tea leaves balls, called "Dragon Pearls". These tea leaves are plucked during moonlight by young local women hence its name “Moonlight Beauty”. Due to the black and white colouration of each bud with its two leaves, it is said to resemble the moon and night sky. This tea has a silky, floral taste reminiscent of honey and has a mouthfeel of good quality white tea. |
