Yawanawa Parika is an extremely popular and famous Rapé. Note that this is a new batch and can vary slightly from the previous batch.

The Yawanawa Parika Rapé is a renowned blend cherished for its strength and clarity, crafted with a combination of Sabia Tabaco and the distinctive ashes of the Xixá tree (Sterculia striata). Often referred to as "Parica" or "Parika," these ashes are highly praised in the creation of Rapé, known for their grounding, clearing, and stabilizing properties.

The Sterculia striata tree, commonly called Xixá in certain regions, provides ashes that are distinct from other trees often associated with similar names, such as the Schizolobium amazonicum (commonly referred to as Parica) or Anadenanthera peregrina (Yopo). In the context of Rapé, Xixá ashes are particularly valued for their ability to help clear negative energies, ground the user, and sharpen mental focus. This grounding effect makes them an excellent choice for Rapé blends used in meditation, spiritual ceremonies, or healing work.

The ashes of Xixá are known for their robustness, enhancing spiritual practices by promoting stability and balance. This gives the blend a deeply stabilizing effect, while also aiding in energy clearing and mental clarity. These characteristics make it especially useful for those seeking to enter a state of deep focus and reflection.

Yawanawa Parika Rapé combines the intense grounding qualities of Sabia Tabaco with the energetic clearing properties of Xixá ashes, making it a powerful tool for energetic and spiritual work. The Sabia Tabaco offers a potent, earthy base, while the Xixá ashes help clear stagnant energy and bring the user into a state of heightened awareness and calm. This combination results in a Rapé blend that is both forceful and precise in its effects.

Despite its strong action, this Rapé is known for its minimal purging effects, making it accessible for both experienced users and those seeking a powerful, yet balanced, Rapé experience. The Yawanawa tradition deeply respects this blend, which reflects their spiritual focus on clarity, cleansing, and grounded presence.

While this blend is rooted in Yawanawa traditions, it carries a modern twist, as it is prepared by a non-tribal shaman. The ingredients, however, are directly sourced from indigenous communities, ensuring that the essence of the sacred Rapé remains intact. The preparation involves a deep respect for the plant spirits and the indigenous ways of working with these natural elements, with the shaman visiting and learning directly from the Yawanawa people to craft this exceptional blend.

Note: Very much recommended is the new Yawanawa Tonka. This new Rapé is exactly like the Yawanawa Parika, yet with Tonka beans added for a lush and sweet aroma.

We take great care to reprocess all received stock to ensure the finest quality powder. Often, Rapé arrives with varying levels of fineness due to the lack of professional sieves used by the tribe. To address this, we meticulously sieve all powders to remove rough bits and particles, resulting in an exceptionally smooth and effective powder at 150-micron fineness. We use laboratory-grade sieves and dehydrating equipment to achieve this quality. This is our standard because it provides the best Rapé experience.

The Yawanawá, or the tribe of the white-lipped peccary, are a small tribe of 1,300 people, living remotely in only a few villages along the Gregório River. They are known as warriors, as they always keep on fighting, even in hard times. At some point in history their tribe was almost extinct, with only about 300 members left. Nowadays their tribe has grown again, and their traditions and knowledge have been conserved in a very strict way.

The Yawanawá were the first tribe that initiated a woman to become a shaman, setting a huge example in the history of shamans. In their language rapé is called Rume and the Yawanawá preferably blend Rume with Tsunu ashes and mapacho, which gives this special blend a very refined taste. In addition, Tsunu is used for healing purposes and has a supportive role during ayahuasca ceremonies.
