The Yawanawa Tonka Rapé with Cumaru is a unique and highly sought-after blend, prized for its potent effects and the inclusion of Cumaru seeds (Dipteryx odorata), also known as Tonka beans. This Rapé is built upon a solid foundation of Sabia Tabaco and Xixá ashes (Sterculia striata), following the traditional recipe of Yawanawa Parika, but enhanced with the aromatic Tonka bean. The result is a beautifully balanced and deeply grounding Rapé that resonates with clarity and spiritual depth.

At the heart of this Rapé are the Xixá ashes, known for their ability to promote grounding and mental clarity. The Xixá tree (Sterculia striata), sometimes referred to as Parica in certain regions, produces ashes that have been used in spiritual practices to help clear negative energies and stabilize the user. These ashes, combined with Sabia Tabaco, create a blend that is deeply purifying and centering, making it ideal for rituals, meditation, and energy clearing.

What makes this particular blend stand out is the inclusion of Cumaru seeds (Dipteryx odorata), also known as Tonka beans. These seeds are famed for their luxurious vanilla-like fragrance, and have long been used in flavoring Tabaco's, perfumes, and even gourmet desserts. In this Rapé, the Cumaru imparts a sweet and earthy scent, with a cooling yet warming sensation, making it not only a powerful spiritual tool but also a sensory delight.

The aroma of Tonka beans adds an extra layer of relaxation to the experience, promoting bodily relaxation and a deeper sense of mindful presence. The seeds' essence is known for bringing about a sense of pleasure and calm, gently uplifting the mind while anchoring the body in a state of grounded clarity. This added dimension makes the Yawanawa Parika with Cumaru a versatile Rapé that can be used both for meditative purposes and healing ceremonies.

This special Rapé is hand-pounded and crafted with care to ensure a fine, smooth consistency. The ingredients are carefully sifted using laboratory-grade sieves, resulting in an exceptionally fine powder that delivers a powerful yet refined experience. The blend has a dark grey color, and the unique combination of Xixá ashes and Cumaru ensures a strong energetic effect without being overbearing.

With the grounding qualities of Sabia Tabaco and Xixá ashes, combined with the uplifting essence of Cumaru, this Rapé is perfect for ritual settings, meditation, and personal reflection. It opens the pathways for deep spiritual alignment and helps clear negative and stagnant energies in the body and mind. This blend is particularly effective at facilitating deep breathing and relaxation, allowing users to enter a meditative state that fosters clarity and healing.

The Yawanawa Parika with Cumaru can be used on many occasions due to its balance between potency and comfort. Whether used in ceremonies or for personal healing work, this Rapé provides an experience that is both energizing and soothing, making it a standout blend for anyone looking to explore traditional Yawanawa Rapé with a touch of luxurious aroma.

This is a variation of the famous Yawanawa Parika, following the exact same recipe, yet with the right amount of Tonka bean seeds added into the blend during production. While this blend is rooted in Yawanawa traditions, it carries a modern twist, as it is prepared by a non-tribal shaman. The ingredients, however, are directly sourced from indigenous communities, ensuring that the essence of the sacred Rapé remains intact. The preparation involves a deep respect for the plant spirits and the indigenous ways of working with these natural elements, with the shaman visiting and learning directly from the Yawanawa people to craft this exceptional blend.

We take great care to reprocess all received stock to ensure the finest quality powder. Often, Rapé arrives with varying levels of fineness due to the lack of professional sieves used by the tribe. To address this, we meticulously sieve all powders to remove rough bits and particles, resulting in an exceptionally smooth and effective powder at 150-micron fineness. We use laboratory-grade sieves and dehydrating equipment to achieve this quality. This is our standard because it provides the best Rapé experience.

The Yawanawá, or the tribe of the white-lipped peccary, are a small tribe of 1,300 people, living remotely in only a few villages along the Gregório River. They are known as warriors, as they always keep on fighting, even in hard times. At some point in history their tribe was almost extinct, with only about 300 members left. Nowadays their tribe has grown again, and their traditions and knowledge have been conserved in a very strict way.

The Yawanawá were the first tribe that initiated a woman to become a shaman, setting a huge example in the history of shamans. In their language Rapé is called Rume and the Yawanawá preferably blend Rume with Tsunu ashes and mapacho, which gives this special blend a very refined taste. In addition, Tsunu is used for healing purposes and has a supportive role during ayahuasca ceremonies. Mostly, the Tsunu is used before ayahuasca, enhancing the effects and opening the spirit for the ceremony, but it is also applied during intense ceremonial experiences, easing the vomiting and cleansing.
