Hand-Carved Kambo Frog Kuripe – Tamarind or Sawo Wood

This beautifully hand-carved Kuripe comes from our trusted and skilled woodcarvers in Bali, crafted from a single solid piece of either Tamarind or Sawo wood. The design features a depiction of the sacred Kambo frog, which rests along the side of the applicator. When placed on its side, the frog appears seated atop the pipe; when held to the face, it sits at the left side, its head pointing upward to the face, offering a quiet presence during the application ritual.

Each Kuripe is a balanced V-shaped self-applicator, with a medium-diameter channel suitable for most users. It allows a stable and smooth flow of air, requiring moderate force to deliver a steady and grounded experience.

Two distinct wood types are offered:

Tamarind wood, known for its strength and darker, richer tones, offers a dense and durable feel. Its natural resistance to wear and deep grain structure give it a grounded, earthy presence.

Sawo wood, in contrast, has a lighter brown base with orange and golden hues, displaying warm and organic patterns. Traditionally used in Indonesian woodwork for its balance of softness and strength, it holds a gentle, approachable energy.

Both woods are left untreated apart from a light polish with coconut oil, allowing the natural beauty and texture to shine through. These Kuripes are unvarnished and tactile, ideal for those who prefer their tools to remain close to their natural state.

As with all handmade items, each Kuripe is unique. Variations in wood grain, color, and carving details are to be expected and appreciated. The piece you receive will be crafted in the same spirit and style, yet carry its own distinctive character.
