Rapé is a traditional Amazonian snuff prepared from strong Tabaco (Nicotiana rustica) and the ashes of sacred trees. Used for countless generations by Indigenous tribes throughout Acre and the surrounding rainforest regions, Rapé is traditionally administered through the nostrils with a Kuripe or Tepi. This ceremonial practice is valued for its ability to support focus, presence, and inner alignment.

Alongside the well-known powdered form, some communities also prepare liquid Tabaco extracts that are inhaled through the nose. Suco de Rapé Nirvana is a modern continuation of this tradition, offering a refined and practical way to experience a liquid Rapé extract through a convenient nasal spray application.

Energetic and Ceremonial Qualities

Suco de Rapé Nirvana is a concentrated liquid Rapé extract made from a carefully selected variety of tribal Rapés and Brazilian Tabacos. During the final stages of preparation, the aromas of fresh Vanilla pods, ground Tonka beans, and Cumaru seeds are incorporated into the extract, creating one of the most distinctive aromatic profiles within the Suco range.

The first impression is often one of warmth, richness, and comfort. Sweet notes of Vanilla mingle with the spicy, almond-like depth of Tonka and the complex woody sweetness of Cumaru. Together they create an aroma that many users describe as inviting, uplifting, and almost heavenly in character. It was precisely this impression during the final stages of development that inspired the name Nirvana.

Despite its inviting aroma, Nirvana remains a powerful preparation. The liquid absorbs rapidly through the nasal passages and sinuses, producing an immediate aromatic flash and a strong sensory impact in the centre of the face. The initial experience can feel surprisingly intense, followed by a gradual descent into a calm, centred, and grounded state.

The Aromatic Ingredients

Vanilla contributes a smooth, sweet, and comforting aroma recognised throughout the world. Its familiar fragrance softens the rustic character of the Tabaco and Rapé foundation while adding warmth and depth.

Tonka Bean is renowned for its rich and complex fragrance, combining notes reminiscent of vanilla, almond, hay, spice, and dried fruits. It has long been valued in perfumery for its exceptional aromatic richness.

Cumaru, often referred to as Brazilian Tonka, contributes an earthy sweetness and warm woody character that bridges the sweetness of Vanilla and the deeper spice notes of Tonka. Together these ingredients create the unmistakable signature of Nirvana.

Function and Composition

Suco de Rapé Nirvana is crafted from a variety of authentic tribal Rapés selected for their depth, grounding qualities, and aromatic character. Brazilian Tabacos are added to provide additional body, rusticity, and depth. The exact formulation remains confidential, and natural variations ensure that every batch retains its own unique character.

Following extraction, the liquid passes through multiple stages of filtration, including a final 2-micron microfiltration process that removes all plant material.

The extract then undergoes a prolonged period of gravity-settling, often lasting many months. During this process, heavier saturated compounds slowly descend, clarifying the liquid naturally. Because the extract is intentionally concentrated, a fine precipitation may continue to appear over time as active compounds gradually settle out of solution.

When applied with a gentle inward breath, the fine mist can reach deeper into the nasal passages and sinuses than conventional palm inhalation while preserving the original intention of focus, presence, and connection with the medicine.

Use and Posture

Apply one or two sprays into each nostril, aiming the nozzle slightly toward the centre of the head. A gentle inhalation helps distribute the liquid throughout the nasal passages.

Remain seated upright during and after application. This allows any fluids produced within the sinuses to move naturally forward and outward through the nose rather than into the throat. If any liquid reaches the throat, simply spit it out rather than swallowing it.

As with all concentrated Rapé and Tabaco preparations, use sparingly, mindfully, and with respect.

Sprayer Instructions and Sediment Behaviour

Because the extract is highly concentrated, a fine sediment may gradually appear over time. This is not plant material but naturally precipitated compounds settling out of solution, a normal characteristic of concentrated botanical extracts.

To ensure reliable performance:

- Bottles are shipped without the nasal sprayer mounted.
- Attach the sprayer firmly until a distinct click and resistance are felt.
- Shake gently before each use to redistribute any settled compounds.
- If the nozzle becomes blocked, rinse the sprayer stem under lukewarm water and pump until the flow is restored.
- After cleaning, spray several times outside the water to remove any remaining moisture.

Storage and Shelf Life

- Store the bottle below room temperature and away from direct sunlight to maintain optimal stability and aromatic quality.
- When stored under suitable conditions, the shelf life can reach up to two years. The best-before date is printed on the label for reference.
- After each use, wipe the nozzle with a slightly damp tissue and replace the protective cap securely to keep the sprayer clean and functioning properly.
