Sanu is the word for Tsunu. The Araras belong to the Shawandawa tribesgroup and we named this Rapé Arara because those come from the indigenous villages that are very distant and nobody usually goes there. All other Shawandawa Rapé's come from Cruzeiro do Sul and are made in the city. This Rapé is made with Tabaco de Moi of a very good quality, same as the Kuntanawa usually use. The Araras are a tribe of around 1000 members, spread over a few villages along the river in the Jurua region, in marked territory. They are about to loose their language if they don't do something about it now. Apparently only 4 people speak it fluent. They have amazing chants, different from the other tribes and still a lot of knowledge about plants and spirituality. Pano linguistic trunk, very similar to the Yawanawa language.

This is an extremely fine and dry powder. It takes great effort to produce such a fine powder at a 150 micron fineness. This is our standard because this provides the best Rapé experience. All our Rapé is processed to a high standard and consistent fineness and dryness, using laboratory grade sieves and dehydrating equipment, before packaging.

Other names: Cumaru, Shawandawa Tsunu, Tsunu.
