Clitoria flower tea or Blue tea, or Butterfly Pea flower tea, is a caffeine-free herbal concoction, made by steeping dried or fresh leaves of the Clitoria ternatea plant. The best thing about the blue tea is that it is absolutely caffeine-free, and it is packed with antioxidants. The most striking feature about this plant is the colour of its flowers, a vivid deep blue. The flowers of this vine have the shape of human female genitalia, hence the Latin name of the genus, Clitoria. Emburana (Amburana cearensis). This is an often used ingredient in Rapé preparations. The parts use are the bark and the seeds of Emburana. To prepare the tea, use the bark and/or the seeds of the Emburana in the proportion of two tablespoons for each litre of water. The tea is delicious. This blend came from a Katukina collaboration between our Brazilian friends and our network of sacred herbs. A nice blend of Corda and Moi Tabaco and Parica ashes, infused with the power of the Huicholi herb called Tagetes Lucida (Mexican Tarragon). The Zapotecs use Tagetes as a primary herb in purification rituals. "Lucida" means: "shining" or "clear". More information below.

(New Batch #5364). Rapé made with Mulaterio ashes exceed most other Rapés in strength and intensity. We have been working with one of our Rapé providers for more than 6 years, and this new Rapé comes from his student. This Rapé can be considered a non tribal blend yet it is made with ingredients obtained from the Katukina people. A large mortar and pestle is used to pound the ingredients. It is a very fine powder that has a light brown appearance. It provides a sharp initial sensation that has a tendency to immediately make the eyes water. The mind is released from thoughts and one is brought into a peaceful space with a high level of focus. More detailed information can be read below.

(Batch #6633). Kaxinawa Osha has a medium-dark grey complexion and a distinct, sharp, warming, and bitter aroma imparted by the Osha root. The immediate effect is quite sharp, causing instant eye-watering. Once the nose is cleared, it provides a pronounced clearing effect on the sinuses and breathing, leaving behind its distinct warm aroma. This Rapé is both physically and mentally cleansing. Shellac is a natural laquer that can be used to permeate and cover an object in a protective layer of organic varnish. Kuripe and Tepi made from wood or bamboo are usually coated with Shellac on the inside and outside of the object, as to harden the material and to give the Rapé a smoother flow through the pipe. To make liquid Shellac one needs pure alcohol. Add 30 to 50 grams of dry Shellac to 100 ml of alcohol, to make a saturated solution that is ready to use after one night of dissolving. It takes trial and error to achieve the perfect effect on your objects of art.
