Socotran frankincense (Boswellia elongata) is very rare as there are only a few Bedouins left harvesting the resin infrequently. This type of resin fully dissolves when heated due to the fact that there is close to no gum in the resin. The drops are small and almost completely dissolve when put into carrier oils. The scent is a very strong woody amber. This resin is best burnt on charcoal discs available here.

It has a deeply meditative feel to it even though the first moments can be quite sharp and lifting. This only lasts for a few moments before the calmness reaches the entire system. Shellac is a natural laquer that can be used to permeate and cover an object in a protective layer of organic varnish. Kuripe and Tepi made from wood or bamboo are usually coated with Shellac on the inside and outside of the object, as to harden the material and to give the Rapé a smoother flow through the pipe. To make liquid Shellac one needs pure alcohol. Add 30 to 50 grams of dry Shellac to 100 ml of alcohol, to make a saturated solution that is ready to use after one night of dissolving. It takes trial and error to achieve the perfect effect on your objects of art. Clitoria flower tea or Blue tea, or Butterfly Pea flower tea, is a caffeine-free herbal concoction, made by steeping dried or fresh leaves of the Clitoria ternatea plant. The best thing about the blue tea is that it is absolutely caffeine-free, and it is packed with antioxidants. The most striking feature about this plant is the colour of its flowers, a vivid deep blue. The flowers of this vine have the shape of human female genitalia, hence the Latin name of the genus, Clitoria.
