Frog Guiro

A great Fair Trade percussion instrument. This hand carved wooden frog Güiro is made from acacia wood in Northern Thailand. Run the provided stick along the ridges on its back from rear to front to make it croak, or hit it on the head to make a ‘pock’ sound. An easy-to-use and fun percussion instrument often found used in Kambo ceremonies. As this a hand-made item, it may vary slightly from the image shown. |

A unique instrument. By pulliing the string and simultaniously twisting the stick one can produce very realistic frog sounds with this instrument. Handmade in Bali, Indonesia from wood, bamboo and sheepskin. |

Rice shaker eggs set

Opening and closing the hands while shaking can produce an endless variety of sounds and rhythms. The wood is untreated and light of colour. When rubbed in oil, the wood will get a more vibrant colour and will remain preserved and clean while being used. |
