Kuntanawa Capim Santo
Capim Santo from the Kuntanawa tribe contains Lemongrass as an ingredient and bestows a lasting cerebral effect upon the user. When partaking in smaller doses the effect could be considered similar to gentle streaks of lightning flickering across the frontal lobes. With larger doses the effect is likened to a tropical breeze sweeping across an inner citrus garden, delivering the adept into a minor trance. Be prepared for moderate internal atmospheric changes and a strong citrus sensation rising to the crown of the head. Capim Santo has a pleasant afterglow, minimal pleghm to the throat and is perfect for beginners and regular users as it leaves the user with a fresh and clearing sensation in the sinuses and head. This is another genuine tribal and powerful Rapé from our close friend who lives in Brazil and is exchanging with the tribes people.

Kuntanawa Alfavaca da Mata
An all time classic. Alfavaca de Mata Rapé has been made by a member of the Kuntanawa tribe that lives along the Jurua river close to the Peruvian border, on the river Tejos, a side river from the Jurua. This Rapé is prepared with a base of local organically grown Tobacco and ashes of the Tsunu tree. Alfavaca da Mata is a herb that helps against what the Indigenous call the 'Panema', a general negative energy that brings sickness, uncomfortable feeling and makes things go wrong in daily life when negative energy manifests and starts to accumulate in the energy field of a person. Certain herbs and medicines help to clear it away, including Kambo, Sananga and certain types of Rapè. This blend can be considered of those types, with a strong but clearing and opening sensation with minimal build up in the throat. As a fine powder, most is absorbed into the nose and even though the first moment is sharp and intense the overall effects are managable. The tonal quality is high frequency and afterwards one can feel refreshed and ready again to deal with the realities of every day life. This yet another new genuine tribal Rapé from our close friend who lives in Brazil and is exchanging with the tribes people.

Kuntanawa Veia de Paje
This is another beautiful medicine by our favorite Kuntanwá Rapé producer. It's made with a very special medicine from the Kuntanawa. It's a thin vine called “Veia de Pajé”, Shaman´s Vein. It is also called Heart of the Boa Constrictor because of it´s heart shaped leaves, or sometimes just Jiboinha, little Boa. It is a herb used by the tribe for different types of magic in the forest. This is information they don´t tell to anyone but having a good talk between friends they told a little of its uses and powers. They said taking a bath with this medicine is good for business, attracting a positive mate into your life and in general it opens our luck and attracts good things. It is good for hunting and helping to be less visible as well as attracting the prey. In the Rapé preperation it keeps negative energies at bay and attracts positive ones, like an energetic attractor. It attracts good things, but it is good to keep our mind firm and focused on what we want to call in and not to attract the wrong things. It aids in protecting against jealousy and spiritual persecution, always giving us a good direction of proper conduct and thoughts of spiritual alchemy.

Kuntanawa Tipy
This variety of Rapé has been made by a member of the Kuntanawa tribe and is prepared with a base of local organically grown Tobacco and contains ashes from the Sapota tree. The special character of this Rapé comes from a herb the Kuntanawa call Tipy. Tipy is known to be useful in meditation practices and is widely used by the indigenous for spiritual cleansing.
A powerful effect is experienced upon first contact with the nose which subsides quickly opening the sinuses and leaving a pleasant aroma in its wake. Some sneezing is likely to occur with some of the preparation eventualy making its way into the throat. Being a very fine grade of powder most is absorbed directly into the nose. Overall it's fairly gentle on the nasal passages and can be used more than once a day as it clogs the channels a lot a less than other types of Rapè, due to the softness of the Sapota ashes. This is another genuine tribal Rapé from our close friend who lives in Brazil and is exchanging with the tribes people.

Kuntunawa Corda Tsunu
A sublime new Rapé from the Kuntanawa family! The Kuntanawa make most of their Rapé's with the local Moi Tobacco. This one however is made with a more powerful Corda Tobacco, made with the same methods and intentions yet resulting in a more powerful Rapé. While the Moi works strongly on the heart center and is great for soft meditation, the Corda Tabaco works more on the base center and connects to the earth, yet bigger doses take one of to higher planes as well. This Rapé is made with Tsunu ashes and a touch of Apuxuri, to neutralize the Tobacco flavor and give it a little freshness. This Rapé is a light sand brown colour, not grey and not true brown. The flavour is reministent of a warm indian spice (subtly so) though it is not hot on the sinuses. It has an exquisitely sharp slicing initial hit that forces ones attention into focus. Immediately following application there is eye watering, which can feel very cleansing for tired eyes! It is very uplifting and energizing on ones being, a feeling of soaring like an eagle yet with a simultaeneous sense of connection, receptivity and focus without any heavy bodyload. This Rapé really tunes one in to one's environment and would be great used in nature. This Rapé and other medicines produced by the Kuntanawa are a cooperation between many members of the family. The Rapé maker who does the final work and gives his personal touch to it has much help from others. It is always a group effort, where one collects the woods and barks and produces the ashes, another helps with collecting, drying and pounding the tobacco. This way effort is shared and the returns are shared with the community.

Kuntanawa Lourinho
This new Rapé is another wonderful medicine from Pedro Hunivu, master of the plants, from the Kuntanawa people. A Rapé prepared with organic Moi tobacco and Tsunu ashes. This grey-greenish Rapé is prepared with Louro, or Lourinho, a local herb name that can be found from region to region. The Louro herb used by Pedro can be a different plant than used by different from other tribes just a few hours down the river. Some tribes use the same name for different plants. This makes researching and finding the plants scientific information very difficult. Louro is a herb that has a refreshing minty and anise like flavor that helps the respiratory system, problems like clogged up nose because of dust and things in the dry season in the forest. It is used for throat problems. Also it can help balance acidity or when feeling nausea in the stomach. It helps to relax and clear the body apart from clearing the mind and relaxing the spirit.
