Tendency to purge is quite common as the overall effect is immensely strong. The duration of effects produced by this Pau Pereira Rapé can last for many minutes and a seated position is recommended. A powerful and very popular Rapé blend. Yawanawa Peu
This Rapé has an immediate "kick". It is named after the producer. This Rapé is the basic Yawanawá recipe made with Corda Tabaco and Tsunu ashes. It is for us the perfect blend of ashes and tobacco, non fragrant or spicy and 'clean' in its flavour due to the ash content. It packs a punch. It's initial effects upon application are a powerful yet contained explosion in the sinuses and being of the user. Strong! This quickly dissipates, immediate eye watering follows and then a persistent calming of thoughts and awareness of the body becomes prominent. Little to no Rapè is transported to the back of the throat. This Rapè takes one to the edge of feeling a little 'wobbly' but not fully into it (though may do so with larger doses), holding you perfectly in place in your body and calm in your mind. This Rapè is simplicity perfected, really well balanced and a solid choice to have in ones collection. This traditional Rapé has been made by a youngster from the village Nova Esperança, New Hope. New Hope is where the Yawanawá started their new phase of reclaiming their culture. When they got rid of the rubber tappers and missionaries they left their old village and moved to this place for a fresh start, that´s why they named it New Hope. Peú, as he is called is a young man very dedicated to his culture and the study of their spirituality. He spend three years straight on a diet, normally people do about a year when they do the bigger diets, which is already plenty. This means the first 3 to 6 months they stay secluded in the forest only having contact with the older Shaman who is initiating them and a few others who take care of them. Under a diet such as this, the world can end, loved ones can pass away but they will know nothing, as they stay fully disconnected from the world. During the diet there are many things that cannot be eaten, like sugar or any sweet things like most fruits, even water cannot be drunk because it is considered sweet. Also no salt, no sexual relations and some other restrictions. For a young man to keep this up for 3 years shows dedication! This experience and knowledge reflects in his medicine, although he stopped the diet and got married this is something that changes the person forever. This Rapé is a truly wonderful medicine considered by many connoisseurs who know him and his Rapé, a favourite!

Yawanawa Canela do Velho
This exquisite Rapé is one of the strongest of all the Rapé types available. Deep and intensely grounding as well as extremely strong, and in most cases, overwhelming. The user should find a comfortable space to administer with some time to process the effects. This variety would suit the more experienced user of Rapé’s. This is a new Rapé preparation made from traditional ingredients obtained from the Yawanawá, but mixed in a new post shamanic fashion by a magician who understands the respect and honour needed to work with these plant spirits. Varied doses produce a range of healing and cleansing properties. In most cases it would be wise to start with as little as possible and increase as one gains more experience. Purging is quite possible and the after taste although quite pleasant is extremely strong and can cause a continuous stream of phlegm in the throat. Watering of the eyes is almost certain. Intention and setting should play an important aspect in the administration of this Rapé and one should take time and space to prepare for its effects. In other words: It is strong.

Kaxinawa Xina
This Kaxinawa (Huni Kuin) Rapé contains the herb Xina Inivati, Yapa tree ash, and Moi Tobacco. Xina Inivati is said by the shaman to be used for spiritual cleansing. It is a Rapè that is light brown in colour with aromatic Moi Tobacco tones. It's flavour and taste contains intriguing notes of other forest plants. The first effects felt when using this Rapè is a quick flash in the sinuses which emanates concrentically outwards into the crown area with some effects felt around the face and eyes. As this quickly fades away there is some welling from the eyes, but only a little phelgm production. From there the user may experience a highly focused afterglow in both the mental and the visual fields. This Rapé is made by the 2 sons of the village shaman, who is around 80 years old. The village lies in the Tarauaca municipality, Acre. The Kaxinawa tribe is one of the biggest tribes in Acre state, spread over different areas of the state with many communities and still exist in Peru as well. The Kaxinawa or Huni Kuin (meaning true humans) are considered to be one of the biggest tribes in Acre, as they account for 42% of the indigenous population. Kaxinawas are known that apart from the traditional use of Rapé and Ayahuasca, they also use Cannabis for their spiritual use.

Kaxinawa Moy Cumaru
This potent Rapè from the Kaxinawa tribe is a blend of Moy Tobacco (Nicotiana rustica) and ashes from Cumaru bark (Dipteryx odorata). Moy Tobacco is one of the most beautiful of all Rustica types available. The scent is just divine. Moy heightens the senses and helps to put the user into a relaxed state of being. The aftertaste compared to other mapacho types is sweet and pleasant. Cumaru is also known as the Tonka bean tree and has a long tradition of being used as a flavorful ingredient in snuffs, sweets, and foods. Yet, Cumaru also contains several bioactive ingredients, including coumarins and triterpenoids, and studies have proven its potential as a naturally occurring cancer chemopreventive agent. This Rapè is a light sandy brown colour with a soft texture, it looks somewhat innocent at first inspection however do not let looks deceive you. It is a dark horse! This Rapè is powerful! Initially the user receives a piercing inital jolt to the system, this subsides, some eye watering occurs and heavy phelgm production ensues and whilst some reaches the back of the throat the taste is good! This rapè brings a great sense of strength and power in the body that is beautifully accompanied by a clearheaded and calm afterglow without too much wobble. A super Rapè and a new favorite in the collection.

Kaxinawa Kupy
This Kaxinawa (Huni Kuin) tribal Rapé was made by two shamans. The sons of the 80 year old shaman of a village in the Tarauaca municipality in the state of Acre, Brazil. This Rapé is made from a herb called Bunatura or Kupy, Yapa tree ashes and Moi Tabaco. The Bunatura plant is good to be used for Rapé as it cleans the body, according to the makers. This Rapé has a wonderful Chocolate and Mint-like aroma that almost resembles to that of ice cream. Very rare and we have never come across such a delightful sweet aromatic tribal blend. It can be considered a mild but full and allround Rapé. Sourced by a traveler that made friends with remote settlements in the forests of Acre, Brazil. The money they make by producing this Rapé goes towards the needs of the family and the community and is used to finish building their house of medicine.

Kuntanawa Pedro
Kuntanawa means People of the Coconut, because they are known to traditionally eat mainly palm nuts. Their chief, Pedro Kuntanawa, made this particular Rapé. Made with a locally produced and harvested organic Moy Tabacco (Nicotiana rustica) and the ashes of Parika (Commiphora leptophloeos), a traditional antibacterial ingredient from the Amazon. This variety of Rapè has a strong inital sting followed by a widening on the nostrils which leads to a calming and relaxed state of being. Its creamy undertones and flowery overtones bring the user into a clear headed state of awareness and the channels feel clean and open to fresh air. Eyes will most likely water and some residue will make its way into the throat. As with most Parika types the antibacterial effects will keep the user clear and free of any infection that could occur from daily life.

Kuntanawa Tipy
This variety of Rapé has been made by a member of the Kuntanawa tribe and is prepared with a base of local organically grown Tobacco and contains ashes from the Sapota tree. The special character of this Rapé comes from a herb the Kuntanawa call Tipy. Tipy is known to be useful in meditation practices and is widely used by the indigenous for spiritual cleansing. A powerful effect is experienced upon first contact with the nose which subsides quickly opening the sinuses and leaving a pleasant aroma in its wake. Some sneezing is likely to occur with some of the preparation eventualy making its way into the throat. Being a very fine grade of powder most is absorbed directly into the nose. Overall it's fairly gentle on the nasal passages and can be used more than once a day as it clogs the channels a lot a less than other types of Rapè, due to the softness of the Sapota ashes.

Kuntanawa Capim Santo
Capim Santo from the Kuntanawa tribe contains Lemongrass as an ingredient and bestows a lasting cerebral effect upon the user. When partaking in smaller doses the effect could be considered similar to gentle streaks of lightning flickering across the frontal lobes. With larger doses the effect is likened to a tropical breeze sweeping across an inner citrus garden, delivering the adept into a minor trance. Be prepared for moderate internal atmospheric changes and a strong citrus sensation rising to the crown of the head. Capim Santo has a pleasant afterglow, minimal pleghm to the throat and is perfect for beginners and regular users as it leaves the user with a fresh and clearing sensation in the sinuses and head.
