Yawanawa Nawashahu

Bottle, 10 Ml, 7 Gr from Brazil (SKU 3300)

(Batch #6030). This powerful and sharp Rapé is named after the woman who created it. Nawashahu has become one of very few women in their tribe who make their own Rapé. She follows the basic Yawanawà recipe of Tabaco and ashes made from the bark of the Tsunu tree. This exquisite preparation has deeply flowery tones and the user is left with a clear and fresh state of being after the effects have resided. New batch: As with all Rapè, differences between batches are to be expected. For those used to this variety you will find this batch slightly different than you may be used to.

This exquisite and sharp Rapé has deeply flowery tones and the user is left with a clear and fresh state of being after the effects have resided. But it may take more than an hour before one can leave the relaxed, thoughtless and timeless space and mind state, after applying a dose, small or large. Advised is to sit in a comfortable sofa when using this Rapé, forgetting time and matter altogether.. Although powerful as with many of the Yawanawà Rapè's this blend seems to nurture the user. A deeply relaxing state of being is reached through powerful expelling of phlegm and mucus.

Nawashahu is another beautiful feminine Rapé from the Yawanawa tradition, named after the woman who created it. This Rapè is also called "Força Feminina". Nawashahu is one of the daughters of Biraci and Putany. Biraci is leader of the Yawanawà, and her mother is the first woman initiated into the Yawanawà spiritual tradition. Nawa is a great composer, channel and singer of medicine songs in the ceremonies of the tribe and has become one of very few women who make their own Rapé. She follows the basic Yawanawà recipe of Tabaco and ashes made from the bark of the Tsunu tree.

Customer feedback:

"...This is a very beautiful Rapé. One of the strongest first hits I have experienced. I know this is personal, but it really cuts like a razor. It gives the same strong qualities as the other Tsunu's but there is a subtle difference to look for. We use it in ceremonial ways with groups. When someone has problems in the lower belly or women with female problems in this area, it is a very powerful medicine. We intend to use the more female Rapé's for women to heal the collective and personal wounds, but amazing what it also does for men.  For the men to understand women and to feel the feminine side of themselves and healing wounds in the female ancestor line, working with the grandmothers.  This is one of our top 5 Rapé's at the moment to work with our groups..."

"...I feel embraced around and within my body and to be loved for love of being loved. To be shown and reminded of the good and intrinsic qualities that I under look about the self. My heart comes alive to a vibration that my atoms are resonating to unity consciousness. I sing a song-less song from my heart with this love. I feel blessed. I feel love..."

The Yawanawá, or the tribe of the white-lipped peccary, are a small tribe of 1,300 people, living remotely in only a few villages along the Gregório River. They are known as warriors, as they always keep on fighting, even in hard times. At some point in history their tribe was almost extinct, with only about 300 members left. Nowadays their tribe has grown again, and their traditions and knowledge have been conserved in a very strict way.

The Yawanawá were the first tribe that initiated a woman to become a shaman, setting a huge example in the history of shamans. In their language rapé is called Rume and the Yawanawá preferably blend Rume with Tsunu ashes and Mapacho, which gives this special blend a very refined taste. In addition, Tsunu ashes are used for healing purposes and have a supportive role during Ayahuasca ceremonies.
